If it's not been said yet, That's a 68 C10 and a 72 or 73 Bug.

Yeah, I was thinking a '62 or '63 with a 64-66 hood. Nice old fleet you guys have there.

Seeing you have lots of old stuff laying around, do you by chance have a '68 suburban frame or complete vehicle in that fleet? I have a '68 D60 that I need a panhard bar frame mount for, and either the mount or pictures of it would be a plus. It's a '68 3/4 ton burb only item, so it's rare. They came with big blocks and 3.54 gears.
Unfortunately no, we don’t have a 68 Burb. Otherwise I’d gladly take some pics for ya.

That's cool, I may have a couple leads on the infamous frame mount.

Nope, that’s just how you tell the difference between a 67 and 68. 67-68 both have the same grill and hood but the 67 doesn’t have side marker lights while a 68 does have the side marker lights. Then 69-70 have the same grill then 71-72 have the same grill. 68 and up all have marker lights, so you can’t use that as a way to tell the exact year.

69-70 have the center chunk kind of like the 67-68 and then have “egg crate” style inserts. Then 71-72 have full “egg crate” style grills with a bow tie in the center.

So basically when you look at a 67-72, you just have to know the three styles of grills. The 67-68 are easily distinguishable, then just remember what the 69-70’s look like same as the 71-72. Then you have it narrowed down to only two years instead of 6

Ah ok, I don’t know much about these trucks other than I’ve always liked the body style. This is the first one we’ve had since I was born. I’m amazed at how bare bones it is. And that giant e brake handle makes me laugh. I can’t believe that big old honking lever is factory. At first I thought it was a farmer homemade deal.

As promised, some pics of the other c60 that belongs to my cousin. It’s been here about 10 years. Old forestry service truck that use to haul a dozer.

I was surprised to find a V8 under the hood, I was expecting a 6 cylinder like the blue one. No idea what displacement it is.

Old trailer that used to be hooked to the blue 60. My uncle used that truck and this trailer to haul his dozer. Been her 27 years, just like the truck.

One more. It’s hard to see but there is an old equipment trailer there. My grandad jack knifed my uncles trailer with a load of hay and bent the frame. It’s been here since before I was born, and I’m 31. I think stuff like this is extremely cool. We’re a farm family so we have stuff sitting everywhere. We have an old log truck down in the woods at our other property. It broke down way back when and the owner cut the center section of the frame out. He just left the front and rear sections sitting in the woods. I’ll get some pics next time I’m there.
