shouldnt it have those arms that stabalize into the ground kinda like a fire truck?
Still not understanding why it would be needed to "lock" the front and rear brakes hydraulically with a parking brake. Maybe im not understanding something?
I suspect since the PTO has to be run in neutral and the lift requires the PTO driven pump so the line lock is an additional failsafe to prevent movement.

Sounds good - may even be accurate. :waytogo:

i think if they are talking about a transfer case in neutral vs a sm465 in neutral that too may be a big part too. but a 11 or 13 inch drum with a set parking brake should be pretty damn strong.. lol

You'd be surprised. They can be no match to a steep incline. Especially once a driver forgets to release the brake, they start to drive off and smoke the shoes.

Interesting other find.

Didn’t know they branded anything as “sierra” only back then

This is a gmc crane truck medium duty , the glovebox is unique but it looks compatible with squares. It’s kinda simple and no nonsense.

The dash has a set of 4 dummy lights across the top not sure what they do but interesting to see this equipment and a 2 page SPID

@Keith Seymore @bucket just pinging because I’d think you’d both find it interesting
