wheel and tire size

Im currently running 40x17/16.5 ground hawgs on aluminium wheels. Im looking to run a 39" mud tire on it but it seems 16.5" tires are much more expensive than 17" are. Any suggestions on this?

The prices I see on NTW, for example Super Swamper IROK Bias only has a difference of $4 between 16.5 and 17" so I wouldnt think that is a big enough difference to justify $400+ in new wheels. Just my opinion. Is there a certain brand/style tire you're talking about?

Kinda wish they still made hawgs! I dont care to much for the lack of bead sealing area of 16.5"tires rims.
