I'm liking the gray bucket seats and the mirrors the bestest. That's a 3/4 ton too right bucket??? I am fairly certain those are the same hub caps mine had. When the seller told me it had a full float rear end, I thought yeah right, not with those hub cabs it don't, but I was buying it anyway for $50. Then when I got it on the trailer out of the tall weeds, and could see the rear end housing, sure enough, 14b Full Floater. I just figured it was the Semi Float with the hub caps.

Yep, 3/4 ton with a 3.73 full floater rear.

And I was mistaken on the year. I thought it's an '85, but it's actually an '86.

I know of a couple things that will disappear from under the hood. It looks like it has TWO smog pumps.

Yuck.. If I recall, and you said this is a Fo Fitty Fo, so its the one with the Power Steering Fluid Canister seperate from the PS pump. Sits up top on the driver side??? And if it has the heavy duty cooling package, it has an electric fan in the grill on the outside pushing in. Mine even still work on my C20. I was flabergasted when I turned the key and the thing came on.

454, with the PS canister up high on the driver side, next to the AC compressor. I had never hear of a pusher fan on these trucks, so I had to go take a look. Sure as poop, there it sits right behind the grill! Have any idea when it's supposed to come on?

So far I'm really happy with the purchase, it runs and drives pretty well.

Sounds like you got the same exact set up as my C20 pick up. It only comes on in the summer time. I actually don't think it goes off of water temp, I think it works off ambient air temp outside for some reason. I was just happy I heard mine running. And the reason I say that, cuz even on a hot day like 90 degrees out, I have not even started the truck that day and the fan comes on as soon I hit the key. I can hear it running before I even crank the motor.

By the way, I was not aware of that either until I got my 86 C20, and this 88 Burb has it too. Both were factory 454 with Heavy Duty Cooling RPO.

You know, I really don't know cuz when the did the motor swap to the crate 454, they unhooked the AC hoses and never refilled the freon so the AC wasn't working. So I don't know where I had the swich to. It could be that the fan ran if the AC conrtol was in the on position.

Well, it's Monday and I forgot the camera, so snowy night time pics will have to do for now. But that's better than nothing, right?

The dark gray paint on the left rear quarter and tailgate is the original two-tone color.

I just realized he got tailgate too. Other than the gray buckets and white solid paint, with red bench seat, my Burb has about the same features yours has. Originally TBI 454 Turbo 400, 3.73 FF rear C20 Silverado with Power window tailgate and rear air.
