Now you're talking like you might be buying it for an investment. IF so, I say NO, bad investment. As you said, you'd sit on it for a long time. Only way to get your money outta that, is to drive your money out of it. I don't see gas prices getting back to even $2 a gallon again and if so, it'll be short lived. If its that clean and nice, and you like it to have and to use, then go for it. But otherwise, its not an investment. Most vehicle purchases aren't unless you are getting them real cheap.

No, not as an investment. It just may only be useful for me for a few months and I don't want to lose a bunch of money on it in a short period of time.

Of course, like I said before, I could end up falling in love with it and never selling it. It's happened before.

IMO if it's pretty rust free and runs good I'd have no problem forking over the 1800. You could find tires of CL cheap enough and it's getting really hard to find these in rust free, running condition...

yeah, I'm thinking that would be the case. You'd end up keeping it. Being 2wd and 3/4 ton, its gonna have a nice ride to it. Its probably a good deal for you and you'd be helping out 2 coworkers. :grd:

Yes you would have a problem forking over $1800. Cuz this one probably has good Dumbo mirrors, like a mans truck has. But, yeah not many rust free square burbs left out there.

:flipthebird: I would not let that stop me from buying it if I was in the market. Stuff like that is an easy fix if I wanted to put forth the effort. :whymewhyme:

Figures, you'd mess up a perfectly good Burb. I'm thinking its about time you got an infraction.

My opinion is totally bias since I never had an urge to BUY a suburban, 1800 seems like alot for a Suburban. If it was 4x4 I think nit would be closer to worth it.

If you plan to resale it... Maybe instead of selling the whole unit just part it out on craigslist. Or have a few of our members list it on craigslist where they live back east.

What do you think bucket? A 3 day suspension, or a full week? He's a nice guy, can't perma ban him just yet.

It'd be a shame to part out something that sounds to be as nice as this does...

If you're not a Burb buyer, then you wouldn't see the value anyway. Also, this is a 3/4 Burb which makes it more of a real truck that can tow a good size trailer if needed. Its also got a big block which is quite a bit more expensive than a 350.
