Yes. It kind of helped, hard to explain.

I was just wondering. I don't know how many times I've witnessed a glass guy pull a rear window into place, nearly effortlessly, using the rope trick. The only help ever needed from me was to hold the window to the cab while he pulled the rope. Or if the interior was full of parts and stuff, I'd climb in and pull the rope since I was smaller.

Long blathering post on window install is now edited. Sorry all.

Pulling the rope seemed to get the outer lip over the spline but we both had to really push it as delicately as possible but also forcefully to get the seal rested on the spline.

Found some limited time to tape the white in preparation for the colored hood stripes. Gonna paint orange first, hopefully next few days. It’s been a bit breezy and buggy for painting so I am keeping busy with landscaping, skiing, fishing and off-road racing.

454 TBI... anybody have a favorite brand spark plug ?
Not the platinum stuff. 80's and 90's TBI don't need that. Stock style is good unless you have modified from stock.

AC Delco, or the short Accel plugs if equipped with some type headers. Or NGK or Denso. No fancy platinum or iridium needed. Also no gimmick plugs like Split Fire or E3.

Drove the 84 to work today. Got the best looking truck in the parking lot. Even chicken head can't help but look at it while he's walking at break. Lol

Always go OEM, unless told otherwise or mods are in play. Put in what the vehicle was engineered to run. I got 25+ years in the Auto Parts industry and always went by that motto, whether the customer wanted to take that advice was up to them. One example of being told otherwise is when I bought an ATK HP94 383 they instructed owners to use AutoLite plugs so I did and no complaints on that advice.

There are NGK plugs that are shorter than those "header" plugs for a small block anyhow, should be the same for a big block I'd think.

Sprayed orange this morning before all the bugs woke up and the wind kicks up. The stripes are a little cobbly because I didn’t pull the tape soon after painting the white so I had to score it. I didn’t make that mistake 2x. Hopefully I can spray blue tomorrow.
