The bit#h is it's tempered,so unless you find a replacement piece from the manufacturer a glass company cannot cut you a piece. Push comes to shove I'd cut a piece of lexan.I know nothing about glass, but it looks to me like the origin is around where the latch is for the glass.

So it will have to be a junk yard search or total back glass replacement then? The bit#h is it's tempered,so unless you find a replacement piece from the manufacturer a glass compan cannot cut you a piece. Push comes to shove I'd cut a piece of lexan.
any updates on this project? also what size speaker is that, and which bracket is that holding the speaker?working on something to hold my spare fluilds etc behind the seat. This the mock up/cut stage. I will post a pic when im done.
I agree about the focal point looking near the latch. Is your latch super difficult to latch? I would imagine Safelite is going to do a full replacement rear slider, it's pretty hard to find pieces for these. Shoot a pic of your gasket/glass near the corner. I'm curious if yours uses the OE seal or not. It kinda looks like it doesInside up close.

I am also no expert in glass, but damage does seem to have a focal point directly below the latch.
I will snap a pic when I get home. I had some general questions about the glass they said they needed a few days to get for my appointment. I knew this would get interesting... speaking to the Safelite rep(not a technician) she told me it would be a full 4 panel slider window. So it will be an entire back glass replacement. I then asked if it will be tinted or clear and she says: "I don't think we can get tinted glass for this vehicle" I says "ok". Then she goes:"if we can even get the replacement for your vehicle" I left it at that knowing I have an appointment on the books. I am expecting a call-back from Safelite in the time between now and the appointment date.I agree about the focal point looking near the latch. Is your latch super difficult to latch? It's a high temp because its in the pressure test port. That is the absolute worst place to put a temp sensor and borderline useless. You need the sensor in the pan or you aren't really getting any good info at all. The pressure test port is a dead head and is really only going to be giving you case temp, if that.Installed my transmission temperature gauge today. The Autometer literature recommended a “short” sending unit if installing it in a pressure test port so as to not bottom it out. Install went with no problem and I took it for a 40 minute ride. Temps climbed to a bit under 210 then fluctuated a few degrees based on speed, hills etc.
