Got my rubber grommet set today. This will come in handy. Also had to go back to the regular two filament bulbs because the led won't blink with the headlights on. I remember that now that I think back when I first tried them. Lol

Also had to put another coat of some new stripper gel on the grill. The orange spray can was just not strong enough. I think this gel will finally do the job for me.

An electronic version of the blinker module will let you run LED bulbs. They aren't very expensive either.

Nothing major, but finally got my passenger side weather stripping redone.

Put new in a couple years ago, and the metal on the bottom of the window had a sharp corner and tore the weather stripping up, down inside the door. Been running without a door panel since then. So, it was nice to finally get that redone and put back together.

Also did the pex trick to the strikers and don't have to slam my doors anymore.

I don't know if it's the right one, but yeah, something like that. I don't recall that wire.

There's that Amazon associate thing in my post too. Wtf. I have nothing to do with Amazon.

I gotta say that stripping the paint off the grill has become a big pita! I've done 5 coats and still have a little more to get off. If I knew it would be this way I would've just painted over the old paint. But if you want it looking right it's better to remove it rather than pai ting over the flaked off parts of paint. You would've been able to see where it was flaked off. I'll be much happier with it once it's finished tho.

Got the horns working. I removed them to paint and to see why they weren't working. When I hit the button on the steering wheel I could hear a clicking sound but no horn. So I tried them individually by hooking up a wire to the horn then touching it on the positive side of the battery. One worked the other one was grounding out. So, got one that my neighbor gave me and hooked them up and now both are working.

Also cleaned all the atf that leaked out of the transmission into the bed and aired up the spare. It had almost zero air in it. Lol
