I finally installed my adapter style steel wheel spacers from motorsport tech. I had to pull the axles to install longer wheel studs for proper thread engagement. Looking forward to my first test drive in spring.

Pretty much finished the interior just waiting on a new dash to come in. Led head lights too
What dash pad did you get? I bought a molded urethane one before I saw the injection molded vinyl pad, and am somewhat dissapointed. It fit's OK, but I probbly would of sprung the extra $ for the vinyl pad for sure. Can't wait to see how yours looks!

Who carries the vinyl dash pads?
LMC has some, and maybe Classic Industries?? I've seen them on a few sites now but they are close to $400

None, it's an adapter style spacer, lug pattern is the same as on the axle. I just wanted to have the same track width on front and rear axle of my k5.

I bought one from The Truck Shop. Quality looks great. Haven't fit it up yet, but side by side with the original dash, it doesn't appear there will be any issues.
Was the best price I could find last year for an OE style dash pad.

Finally got the PS pump installed. No leaks, no runs, no errors. Bled the air and took it for a drive. This coming Spring I'll do the flush.

I also like the appearance of the wheels/tires even to the fenders, front and back. There is a couple reasons why vehicles, especially 4 wheel drive, have a wider front track.

Most 4-wheel ATV's and even medium duty all wheel drive trucks have a much wider front track. I could explain why for anyone interested.

Sure, I'm interested.

I'd guess so that the front and rear wheels aren't riding in the same rut, gives a chance for the wheels to touch a little bit of fresh ground. Am I close?

Drove to "the farm", (Buddies family farm...not mine lol), to hunt today. I swear every time I go there the truck makes additional squeaks, groans, and thumps. Be glad when spring time gets here so I can change the fenders, doors, bedsides, steering column, and rear springs while bed is off (rear tank mod is stopping it from being a quick job).

Today I got the typical tailgate hop (rusted hinge mount), but got a new inner fender-well thump on the passenger side. That's because only 4 bolts are holding it in place.

Painted the insides of the doors with rustoleum 2x Thanksgiving weekend.

Noticed I can't insert a picture from my albums....we'll not with out knowing the code. Think it's [ img ] xx.jpeg [ /img ] (no spaces). Before it had the code for each pic posted on the right side on the album when I opened a pic. Made it a copy/paste option.

Just something I noticed.
