Assembled and ready....

Wow! those turned out great! Was that all just the mequiar's polish or did you use a fine grit to sand down any scratches first?

Safe to assume that you used an electric buffer over hand polishing?

I polished these by hand-I got lucky and found some pretty clean GM lenses on an 86 K5 in a local salvage yard that came in. I pulled a lot of parts off it including theses lenses. Really fine scuffs can be hidden by a few coats of enamel clear too.

OH NO, NOT THAT ONE! Ugh! My ride came with one similar with the holes. I can't keep my freakin' fingers out of them! One of these days, I'll lose them to a catastrophic front-end failure (I pray I don't or anyone else).

Finally recovered the seat. I'd like to say it was easy but I'd be lying if I did. If I ever make this a show truck I'll have it professionally done. Before and After.

Working on a way to move my manual trans an tilt column/wheel about 2" closer to the dash. Hopefully it works out...

Also cleaned up the new burb an swapped wheels. Hopefully they don't have any bad mojo from the accident. I didn't have much choice on putting them on she ran over something an sliced the sidewall on one that was on it. Really ticked me off because those tires are new also an now one is ruined. :(
