I can, all of the badges are drawn by me, the fender badge is larger than factory because I wanted to be able to see it better. Factory on top, center is the size of the badge shown above and the bottom was me playing around with color.

Those bigger ones would look great on a smooth aftermarket (no lettering) tailgate, if they fit in the depression.

Changed the drivers side headlight in the dark - do they go out in the light ?

At any rate, a simple job involving a Torx T15, a Phillips, and a flat head. Umm, yeah - some of my torx are MIA and replaced by someone in the trucks past.

Best part is that I did not get a Halogen as I forgot that is what I put in so the 2 are now different. (Both Sylvania)

I can't tell a difference...

I pulled everything off the garage floor & washed all the nasty road grime tracked in after our recent ice & snow.

But now, all the dust from the howling wind is blowing in & coating everything in a fine, gritty powder:mad:

Yes I have been in Oklahoma wind, it definitely blows.....last time we set up in outside spaces at the Chickasha swap meet, there were 40-50 MPH gusts at the Grady County Fairgrounds where the meet was held.... Bent the tent poles around us, as my Dad and I were holding them down, while Mom was going around, taking the tarp tent loose from the framework. It was about to blow us to Nebraska....
Another question I've been wanting to ask the Okie truck guys: do y'all still have to have the "commercial vehicle" lettering on the rear bumper or tailgate, like in the 70s and 80s? I remember seeing that on the trucks when we first were going up there, and I hadn't seen that in Texas. My mom's mom's people are from central Oklahoma, and we've been up there for several family reunions besides the swap meets.
And that is a beautiful garage, neat and well organized. You should be proud of it, and I'm a lil bit jealous.....my building is a mess.

This is something the weather people always get right. When that say put up all loose items, they mean it. BTW, will you be there this year? We usually go every year.

Only if a business truck, like Yo'reillys or the Zone, places like that.

Why thank you Carol. I try to keep it fairly clean. Sometimes it does get a bit out of hand.

Getting ready to piece it together. Can’t find the full panel or a doner filler neck section. They quit making the full burban quarter panels in 24. I’m waiting on another panel to patch the top in and see if I can massage the fuel door area in

Got sick of looking at the rust with all the money I’ve spent on the drive train.

Last one is a picture of the good side.

Still got a lot to do. 4:10s tru tracks in front and rear, rear disks, and a bunch of other random stuff.

We haven't been to that swap meet since about '95/96.... Mom and I changed jobs and we didn't have that much time off anymore. It's a 12 hour drive one way from Houston.... Last time we were in Oklahoma at all was another family reunion in summer 2011. Rented a new Charger for the long weekend and it was a blast, but we took two days each way to get there and back home.

Our GMC R2500 was white where yours is red, and light metallic blue where the white is on yours. I miss that Burb....I did a lot of wrenching on it, but we also went a lot of places in it. It was a good ol Burb....
