Great thanksgiving day project! A splash of power steering fluid adds flavor to turkey gravy I heard! Lol.My power steering pump has been leaking like a sieve so I'm going to try to rebuild it. This will be a first for me. Fingers crossed.
Just got a call from the kids. They say I'll be there for Thanksgiving to be around the family, or else. Guess I'll to do the rebuild tomorrow. I'll try to post some pics while I do it, if I remember to take some. lolGreat thanksgiving day project! A splash of power steering fluid adds flavor to turkey gravy I heard! Lol.
Seriously I’ve never rebuilt a steering pump so interested in the outcome. Specially since my 86 works great and doesn’t leak. If it does leak I’d rather re seal a good pump than buy a case of remans so I can find a good one!
https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...y+&+lamp+assembly,headlamp+door+/+bezel,14093Should be able to get them in a large flat rate box, only 18$. Cheapest ones I've found new are 20$ each, not including shipping. I'd say that's a bit cheaper.
Hmm, well I stand corrected. I've looked and looked, and the cheapest ones I've found had been 19.99 or more each.
