I know right? I did it with the hand held mini for spot blasting. If you blast your finger or hand, no biggie. So the tank was a gone anyway I just found it sooner than later. lmc loves my 1 step back days.

Before...
Bald AF tires that came on the wheels we wanted.
They were considered "junk" by the seller and we used them all the way up.

Wired up the noise makers, those are loosely installed for now as I need longer bolts (hey, if fuel is going to be this expensive, everyone will hear every penny of it being used :Big Laugh: )

Ive been thinking of putting some of those on my suburban.

I bought these from a friend that went another route for his exhaust (he built a blown big block 41 Chevy Coupe), so I paid quite a bit less for them than listed here.

They are Quick Time Performance electric cutouts, 3 inch.

Block is back from the machine shop.
Tanked; fluxed; line bored; cylinders bored +0.030"; decked 0.010" and cleaned again. The lifter bores have been grooved for extra oil to the camshaft; all the plugs are in and the oil hole for the oil pump has been lightly radiused.
Painted Chevrolet Orange (what else?) with VHT-brand paint and painted the inside at the rear of the engine should I ever need to inspect and look for any leaks (there better NEVER be any!)

Put a tailgate on my k20 for the first time since I've owned it. Also set the bed rails on to see how they look.

Lol, thanks.

I orginally bought that truck as a "parts truck" for another project. Ended up having enough parts that I realized I could build a truck out of it.
And I've been using it to keep all my parts up off the ground and organized until such time as I either use them or sell them.
It's still called "the parts truck", but now because its filled with stuff.

90% of the junk in that bed is for sale if you see anything you like, haha.

I'm soon to empty that bed, take it off, put the blue one on, and reorganize all that stuff somewhere else.

Been a week since we blasted, haven't had ANY time whatsoever to sand the necessities in preparation for epoxy. Me and my dad took a fresh look after all of this, decided it's gonna need a bed pan. On top of the already decided floor pans up front. Darn. BUT that is literally the only rust on the rig, besides the quarter size rust hole on the passenger rocker. I have the primer, have the sanding supplies, just not the time.

Not to mention i'm trying to get a new fuel tank in the parts Burb before the weather takes a turn making it UNBARABLE to be outside. The tank is ready (with the cheapest parts possible) and i just cut the rest of the crap off the truck side, completely ready to go in ---- When i bought it, it had a hole in the top side of the tank and its been reeking of bad fuel. Pulled it out about 2 weeks ago and it was half full with RED GAS IN IT! Makes sense though, sitting for 15 years with a hole in the fuel tank. Hopefully a clean tank and some Berryman's will get her purring and i'll able to cruise around instead of recruiting a small army to push it when necessary!
