nothing meant but is there a reason why the top center bar isn't level with the rest? Sorry if I missed a previous post that said so. For me, otherwise it kicks ass. Wish I had those welding skills.
I think the only advantage in this case would be being able to see the bar to gauge how close to something the front end is plus another couple inches to keep something (like deer) from coming up over the hood that's why I made it kinda flat instead of angled back and angled the sides to kind of deflect off to the side if you want to see more/sooner YouTube is where I post first/fastest

Something like this little 45° gussets
"If it were mine", please disregard if you don't like, but I'm OCD and would angle the caps/gussets the same angle as the a-pillar looking from the front...so they would match. I also like how it looks without the oem bumper.

Wish I could weld and try stuff like this though. Nice work!

Lol, no. I never really watched seinfeld. But we do have a guy that works for fedex and he loads his work van and brings them in.

It came in a scrapped car and was a dual post with good amps so i snagged it lol. Weight to money is crap for batteries right now. I believe 13 cents/lb...

I used to haul all my junk batteries to a place in Columbus, they paid pretty good. I don't recall how much, but ballpark math works out to nearly $0.30 a pound. It was a nice little chunk of change when I was usually hauling in 500-800 lbs of batteries.

Interestingly, the scrap yard down near our new house just pays a flat rate for batteries. A few weeks ago, it was $5 per car battery.

Our scrap yard here gives $15-20 a battery bout the same as they pay at the auto parts store.
