First off some of you already know I had the trans a t-case out for flexplate inspection, and it's not got put back in yet. I had to swap my dad his junk battery for my good one so he'd have something to drive, and so after mines sat for a few weeks without running, I figured I'd start it up.

No trans on it, already done it a couple times and it seemed to act funny, just randomly die and not start back up, but I shrugged it off to the junk battery cuz it wouldn't crank back over, and would run funny when it was running, like lower idle, maybe missing, etc.

Well today ended that story, charge the battery, crank it over, runs for a few seconds and shuts off. Won't hit now at all just cranks and cranks, dump some gas down the tbi and it'll run for a little bit. Then nothing, just cranks.

I hear no FP going, the FP fuse which is underhood under the relay cover has no power to it at all, the fuse is fine, all in lines fuses are fine, the junction block gets and keeps power at all times, and when I energize the FP port in the ALDL I get nothing.

I think the relay is shot. I hope so saves on me changing a FP. I have to wait until I can get a chance to check it, no time with work and everything going on. I plan to check for power at the pump itself and if that leads to no power then change the relay, if it does have power I guess it's FP pressure test, and see what that comes up with. I would think though if I get power to the pump, but it's doing this, FP is bad.

You've got the trans out right? If I am not mistaken, the fuel pump relay's ground is to the bellhousing. You have that back on the block, right?

well now the FP is coming on with the key, and I'm getting fuel up to the tbi, but stil no run, guess I'm looseing fuel between the back of the tbi and into the intake, so now I think it's either, a clogged filter/screen in the tbi(heard there was one inlet screen on the line adapter in back and one on the injectors?), injectors bad, or some reason they aint getting power.

Anyway to check them? I only got a test light, I can find or borrow an ohm or voltage tester though.

Check for spark. Sometimes when the ignition module fails it will cut off the fuel.

I just use a side marker light socket with a 194 bulb in it. Strip the wires back and push them into the connector. Works fine.
