Hey guys I new to this 4X4 stuff so I need your help. I have an 85 K10 and want to put manual hubs in it. I found the warn premium ones (20990) for a great deal but the footnotes on the warn website say I may need the spindle nut conversion kit (32720). Can someone tell me if that is something I need for installation. It has factory axles just fyi. Thanks for the help guys this site has been wonderful help.

You will probably need the correct spindle nuts if you have the factory auto hubs currently.

Same here, I put them on my 87 suburban that had the auto hubs and they just bolted right on.

You can always return it I guess if you don;t need it.

I got steel milemarker hubs for mine last year and they bolted right on. I had auto hubs. As a matter of fact, all the GM hubs I ever put locking hubs on just bolted right on, even on the full-time 4wd late 70's trucks. They were all half tons, don't know about 3/4 ton'rs....

I used the exact same hubs on my 85 k20 with autolocking hubs and the kit had everything I needed.
