Tinted or Clear Vent Windows

I have decided to renovate my vent windows on the easy plan, by replacing the units wholesale. The LMC units look attractive, butoo how does a dummy like me figure out if I have tinted vent windows or clear on my 89?

Is the tint referring to a greenish color, or is that clear? I will post some pictures tomorrow when the sun comes back out for some assistance if needed?

clear would be like very clean looking glass

Tinted will be darker
At night with dome light on you would have a hard time seeing throughh the vent with tinted

The RPO codes will tell you if your truck came with tinted. The info stamped in the corner of the glass usually will say tinted.

If your truck still has original glass in it and it's tinted, it could be faded so bad it appears clear. My '85 had tinted glass but doing the white paper behind the glass trick, it still looked clear, there was no tint left at all. So I did clear when it was time for a new windshield and back glass
