What would you buy? The yukon or 1500hd

The Yukon, without a doubt. For two reasons. 1, I love Burbs (and Yukons). 2, I love the 8.1 big block.

Oh, and a third reason. I absolutely love naturally aspirated torque. The 8.1 has plenty of that.

8.1 Burbs did get the 10.5" full float rear. They were kind of a half breed between a light 2500 and a 2500HD. Oddly enough, an 8.1 2500 HD would have got the 11.5" diff.

Interesting. Makes sense not to put the biggest axle in a burb. Since you can’t practically even come close to overload a semi floater in a suv.

Did not know the 'burbs got the full floater, that's def good info though. I did know the HD got the 11.5, my buddy's got a victory red '03 CCSB 2500HD 8.1/Allison/4x4 that I've been bugging him to sell me lol
