new to the post but maybe someone can help me , I recently rebuilt a 91 5.7 tbi engine, we already did the breakin and everything has ran great the last few weeks, but I noticed my rockers making noise so I adjusted them, now here is the problem its been a couple days since I last adjusted them and now i noticed I get zero oil to rockers, now I think I may have adusted them to far and collapsed the lifters, I loosened them up some and ran the engine to see if they would come back and started to get oil again but they are still not blasting oil like they should,WILL THEY COME BACK or do I need to replace lifters or is there any ideas to get them back up again.

I'd replace them and use a different method for setting the valve lash. 2 if the rockers aren't moving I'd look at your cam :-(

rockers move great and I marked pushrods and they spin great while running so I think cam is fine.

Awesome! Still look at the cam to check for an irregular wear pattern.

when you pull the lifters look at every bottom and compare it to the side of another to check for any concave or dish to them bottom. If they have dish then you need a cam and lifters.

Order from a well know manufacture and ask how they set their rocker preload. This way if it fails it's on them as the conversation will likely be recorded :)
