I think it sounds alright; it's much quieter than the cobbled together mess that was on there before, but it was a mess (hung from chains, bubblegum welds, leaking manifolds, cherry bombs). I think I did have to get different manifold to collector pipe studs as well. My biggest gripe with the LMC kit is that it does not extend far enough back to actually line up with the axles where that tube section is bent for them and then beyond that tube section it turns out way too close to the spring mounts. I bought the 2-1/4 dual with mufflers and behind the wheel exits (not straight back). I ended up putting extensions in places to get the over the axle tubes to line up better and for now I'm just living with the exits as they are. My truck used to give me a headache from being too loud and now I can sneak in and out the driveway without the family noticing. Big improvement.
