Hey, Im on vacation in Oregon, and my nephew asked me to look at his truck. He has a 74 3/4ton Chevy, full time four wheel drive 350. He knows nothing about how to work on it, and that's why he and a friend hooked the battery cables up backwords. When the tuck didn't start they used a piece of wire and tried to jump it at the sileniode. Well now all the wires are fried, and the truck has no power at all. I replaced the wires but still nothing could the starter have fried too?

I checked all the fuses and the fusable link they are all good. Doesn't all the power go through the sileniode first, then to the rest of the truck?
