for that price and running driving truck is well worth it. Tires or no tires and faded paint or whatever. I gave $500 for a rolling body, no motor or trans, and 500 for another car that did not run but was pretty much complete. if it's got little or no rust it's even better. Around here they want $1k or more for a rust bucket you can walk through the holes in it.

Is it long bed or short though?

I'd be all over this if I had a bigger yard. R10 is 2WD, right?

No need to stay cool??

Mine currently doesn't work but is on the list to get restored. I hate being hot and sweaty while I drive. I needs to be comfy but I'm also getting old :)

I usually run 2 60 or 3 60 air, 2 or 3 windows down or open and 60 mph. In old mans 84 it's both floor vents pulled wing windows open and windows rolled down. My 88 had a/c but it sprung a leak and I yanked it just recently. I run 3 60 in it back slider open and both windows down.

I preffer the cleaner firewall on the non a/c trucks.

definately a good deal, long beds go fairly cheap here, I could have bought 2 for $50 minimal rust on both, small driving or running issus on both, but when ppl have them and like them or know what they got, forget it. As I said before rust buckets that don't run they want more then $600 for them.

Mine came with most of the parts for the AC, but I still need a condenser, and a couple of lines.....This will probably be one of the last things on my list to get done....
