Just got the RC 8036 springs yesterday and I hope to put them on tomorrow. They are well built and look to be a quality spring. I'll post up the driving first impressions. I should get my new 40's on here in the next couple weeks so I hope to really try them out soon.

well let me put it this way, to anyone who gets the rc kit front springs, if you don't have your battery tied down, do it and do it now.

We drove for years with ours just sitting in their, never moved, we even had an extra leaf in the front stock pack, the day we put on the rc front springs the battery fell off going down the road on a small bump and I mean one you can barely see, like just a crack or tiny pothol less then an inch deep, flew off and laid on the frame the stupid thing rode so stiff.

Very happy with these rear RC springs. They are softer riding than my 4" ProComps right off the bat. I would imagine that a majority of it has to do with the amount of spring arch on the 4" PC vs the 2" RC. The real test will be their performance off-road. I wish the snow would start melting here soon.

I wouldn't be surprised if they've softened up the rate in recent years. That last chart that everybody posts is from '99. Although ProComps are stiff to begin with too.

I never had nor heard anything on the RERA ones, the rough ones we had were up front.

52's in general are softer and more flexy then 47's anyday so that may be why for sure.

our fronts were 4 inch so I don't think 2 vs 4 inches matters, at least maybe not up front? I never had any other rc stuff as fa as springs goes.
