Wiring is about half installed. Need to finish that and finish the fuel system (extend lines and install pump) and it should be ready to fire up.

It's going to be awesome! GM should have used TPI in the trucks to begin with.

Looks like a factory install from here. What rear gears are in the truck?

3.08 open. Considering that many 350 F bodies had 2.73s...But I will change it at some point, probably when I do rear discs.

Up close you can see that it's not factory, but close enough. It's not a hack job like the 1995 K1500 Viktor got recently.

A 3.73 would be really nice, so would a 3.42 really.

Looks nice, that 1995 was a hacked install for sure, but I undid all of it. I wish I kept the tbi unit to throw back on it.

The first gear in a 700r4 does not need anything taller than a 3.23 or 3.42 in the back. My 85 with cheaper tires would spin 1st through 2nd with 3.08 with any moderate throttle after 700r4 swap. And a lighter 89 trans am would do same with 2.73's in the back.

I'm hoping for Twin Peaks Round Rock a week from next Wednesday. But we will see. I still have to work on the fuel lines and finish the starter.
