I have an 84’ gmc c1500 small block(350) not original engine. I’m replacing the Egr valve but I don’t have the Egr id number. The new Egr has several orifice washers to choose from and needs the Egr id. I went to the dealership and it says the original for the truck is 1711049. Should I go off of that number or does it change because the engine is not the original one? I have a 350 engine that was built 79’-85’.
