Stupid question but I have yet to dig into this (will be very soon though). What all has to come off to remove the front dust shields on a K20? I'm having my axles redone and dont want anything to happen to the shields.....they're in excellent shape and I want to get them powder coated anyways. With no wheels, bad things can easily happen.

Thanks.

YEAH THATS what i was talking about. Sure you can say just remove the bolts and voila, but the actual doing of it can be much.. more.

you must have a different diff or a different shield, because the one pictured IS the bracket for the caliper

****** weighs like 35 pounds

If you’re referring to Craig’s picture, that’s just the dust shield.
