What kind of rear bumpers do you guys have on your SB? Specifically non-stock to your truck. I would like to see pics of what you have, Blazer bumpers, aftermarket, etc.

I was wondering what a GMT-900 bumper would look like on our trucks. I just have the stock painted step bumper, and it gets slippery when wet. Since 90% of my trucks use is work related, I am always using the bumper to step on to get in the bed. The GMT-900's have a nice plastic over-lay that most likely doesn't get slick like mine. They also wrap around the corners which for some reason I think is nice. What do you guys think?

Here is a pic of my trucks rear bumper.

Hahaah, one of mine has a "Redneck BillyBob Git'r Done Stop a Freight Train" bumper. Is was on the truck when I bought the truck for $100 and it integrated with the receiver hitch. I needed the receiver hitch, so I've left it on for now.

My truck came without a bumper so I got mine from LMC. It won't be what the OP is looking for, though.

I like the bumper on the back of one of my 85C20's. This is the burnt cab truck. I'll be using this bumper and receiver on the conversion to the 85K10 frame.

Really, any pics are good! Gives ya a reason to ***** out more pics of your truck!

Thats kinda like what I would like. It looks factory, so thats nice, and it has a rubber(?) pad on top.

I need to go out and measure my neighbors bumper and get a pic of it. Anybody on here good with Photoshop?

At some point I want to put a hitch on the truck, and the GMT-900's have a clearance area on them for the hitches. It looks pretty good to me. I am still in the planning stages however, and everything can change!

That looks like a "Sure-Step" bumper.

That is a nice bumper HR :waytogo: mine is NOT good when it's wet!! I wouldn't recommend anyone step up on mine when it's wet. They'll slip and crack their head!

Hey how about some roll-on bedliner on your stock step bumper? Does it have diamond plate on top, like most? If so the bedliner might be the slick trick!

The other thing I like about it, is the chrome is still shiney and its flawless. I paid $200 for that burnt cab truck with an almost perfect bed, the bumper and receiver. The C20 frame is also perfect with Moog suspension, and had a current tag and title. The bumper, receiver and bed is what sold me on it. The recently reupholstered and rebuilt seat is already in the K1500. Kinda sucks it has a cig burn in it keeping it from perfect too.

It is a Surstep bumper.

And this is the bumper on the back of the 85K10. It's in great shape too. I also paid $200 for this rolling chassis. This is the one where the original PO is being a ***** about resigning a title for me. No biggie, this is the frame I'm using to put the bed off the burnt cab 85C20, and the cab off the hit front and rear 85C20 and making it a 4x4 conversion to 85K220 registered as a C20. So this bumper will likely end up on the Blue 454 C20 that has the redneck bumper on it. I'm fairly certain this bumper is Stainless steel.

I don't know about using a GMT 900 bumper, but I think GMT 800 bumpers look good on just about anything. I've seen them swapped on 94-01 Dodges and Squarebodys. Looked good on both of them.

Yes mine has the diamond plate top, and that is a good idea my friend. I hadn't even thought of going that route. That is why these forums are great!

That was the whole point of why I started this thread! I would love to see GMT900, 800, and other non-stock style bumper!
