Need help deciding on which Front Bumper

I am restoring my 1987 GMC V3500. I want to replace the front bumper and am paralyzed by analysis and would like some input based on experience. I really want something as thick as original and a nice chrome.

Here are the contenders:

1. LMC Premium bumper - Every post I can find says it is thin and rusts quickly. (I have been disappointed with some of their stuff)
2. AMD - Says it is 13ga. - I bought a ton of stuff and have been happy. Only one thing I was disappointed with
3. National Parts Depot - Says it is 12ga - Bought one thing and it was good
4. GMC Paul - No thickness stated but they talk about their chrome - Have not bought anything from him yet
5. Brothers(Holley) - No thickness stated - Couple Brother's Items have been good and better than other brands.

Let me know what you guys think.

If someone knows the stock thickness that would be great.

Find an original undamaged painted one and have it chromed.

Although I didn't buy the truck new believe the front bumper is original. Thickness from .108 to .114 on the top edge. Did buy an aftermarket bumper for a different truck, that bumper is definitely thinner. Can't measure, because it's at another location.

@fast 99 Thanks for the measurement.

@Moodyalaskan My original one is not rusted. Chrome is peeling in one small spot and is just old chrome. I thought about getting it chromed but that is about 3 times the price of a replacement. I rather find one that is close in thickness brand new.

If I were " restoring",it I'd find NOS, good used,or have the original rechromed.

I'm biased since I work for AMD but I wouldn't say it if it weren't true, our bumpers are great. I have them on my '85 and am completely happy, and she's no garage queen either, got the miles and the weather to prove they hold up. That said, they're OE quality or better, but not show chrome.

@TotalyHucked I have been happy with everything I bought from AMD except for one thing but it was made right so no issues. I decided since my original bumper is not rusted at all and the chrome is just old looking with one small spot of peeling I would get the chrome redone.
