An old FF rear axle. I have a D70 with a missing carrier. Cut the center out if you need it narrower. Brakes would be tough.

Doesn't need brakes. Just axle hubs and tires! Keeping it simple

No but I have the set off my CC, you could mix and match leafs to get the load capacity you want. It's a SRW D70 out of a 91' Dodge. You could use any FF I just have this one in my scrap pile because someone pulled the carrier and threw away the bearing caps so the center section is useless without the correct caps. That and I don't like Dana axles, I'm a 14bolt guy.

Are you going to have it around for a bit? I'd like to think about the best option. Going to see how it pulls and acts before I jump into spending anymore money on it.

early 90's dodge caravan. axle unbolts with springs and perches and make the best trailer axles. plus tires are easy to find for them

I will keep that in mind thanks guys! I'm gonna give it a test run this upcoming Monday. So we will see after that.

So I got my trailer all done! Come to find out this lovely state I live in now requires a state police inspection on ALL home made trailers. I wish like hell I could leave this state. Pics to come when I get home " endrant"

Alot of minivans run an offset rearend where the axle is not direct to the back of the hub and is offset, We found a Nissan Quest(murcury Voyager) Is a PERFECT trailer axle.

Yeah I had to go thru that when I built my car hauler. Its a pain! Iowa was allot easier.
