If you have the space to store this stuff, that's great.
If it's cluttering up your workspace, that's not so great.
You have to do with what you got. My workspace is clean and open, next to my workspace is a mix of clean and storage. Some would call it an eyesore, some would call it piles of gold. Eye of the beholder.

(1) My parents owned an antique shop.
(2) My youth was spent hitting ghost towns and such (Pacific Northwest and Northwet).
(3) MANY of the things I saw posted are from my youth.
(4) From the things we came across, I learned parts of history not taught in school books.

As an example, we dug for antique bottles. We dug up a LOT of Palmers Perfume bottles. If we dug a lot, and in light of that bathing was not common, we knew the area was successful and there were a lot of "lady entertainers."

(5) I love history, but not the commonly known or taught kind. My love falls more to what is posted here.

I will say one thing though. Nothing but quality, useful stuff is in my garage.
No bicycles, no garden/yard stuff, there's the shed for that.
No storage of anything not auto/truck related.
I once asked the owner of a large, successful weld/fab shop how he keeps the place so clean and organized.
He said that he has put a dollar value on each and every square foot of his building.
If he see's anything on the floor or otherwise taking up space, that does not equate to the value of space that it is taking up, it goes to scrap or trash.
Made perfect sense to me.
There is a big trade off on the storage vs clean thing. It's an hour to town, and everything Amazon or a variation thereof is a week away. Accordingly, it makes sense to have oil, filters, nuts, bolts, screws and so on in supply.

A two hour trip to go after a USB cable doesn't work well for me. Not counting the lost time, it equates to several dollars in fuel.

So too it goes for wood, whether hardwoods or 2x's and flat stock (plywood). Some of it would cost me a fortune and not having it means many things just would not get done.

BUT, as it's said, "[e]verything in moderation." Consider the example of paying $100.00/month to store that pretty, high end dine table, and so on. It doesn't take many months before its value is eaten by storage prices.

Any right-leaning or lefty Prez Trump fans out there that may want some collectible cans? Going to part with a couple of these, I have 4 Revenge and 2 Fight cans (empty) for sale @ $20 each plus shipping. I do have two unopened “Fight” cans but that’ll make for a higher purchase price if I decide to sell, offers accepted though.

My wifes parents owned a Sambos in Midland Texas when she was born.
I found this mug at a garage sale recently and bought it.
Love the print on it.

Doing some before winter organizing and cleaning, almost forgot about this stash. Oliver, Hesston, John Deere. Mostly old stuff, a couple newer pieces, bearings and whatnot.

Pulled out the piece with literature for the windmill tail. Very hard to read and some is missing, it's probably over 100 years old though. Still cool.

Went to the city. Stopped at an antique shop I've never been to. Had a good bit of decent stuff. Prices were pretty good, some stuff overpriced of course.

$5 a can and $15 for the spark plugs.

Some pretty neat cans.

I stopped watching after Dale died. I just got back into it the past 3-4 years. All 3 series. Dale JR has some real good stuff going on. Love to follow him.

I don't have any vintage auto related stuff outside of some old tools that belonged to my grandfather and great grandfather I have vintage guitar stuff.

77 Morley Wah boost, 80s Boss compressor/sustainer, 80s Big Muff. Early Cliff burton/Metallica Kill em all sound. (why some people get it wrong and say he used a Wah fuzz I'll never know)

I don't use these anymore as I have modern versions of them on my current pedal board.

Used to have an old 70s Rickenbacker bass and 80s Ampeg 4x12 tube amp setup but sold them to a collector/active vintage metal player. Just too big bulky and expensive for me to just fiddle with.
