K5 Blazer repaint cap body color or white? How to remove fading paint on fiberglass.

@bucket it has a mostly smooth but textured finish. Here’s some closeups.

Looks like the original tan finish there for sure.

I'd really like to know how GM applied the original finish. I don't believe it was gel coat.

If I were gonna pull the trigger on painting it, I still think I'd go white but man, I've gotta admit it looks real good tan too!
