Is this a good pattern for gm 14 bolt ff?

The pinion looks to be too deep. Compare your first image to the bottom right of this screen shot:

This might not be of any help to you:

One time I backed into a driveway, and when I tried to back out, the rear end locked up.

Could not go forward or backwards. Rear diff was ******.

Stranded? Nope, I dropped her into 4 low - trans in first, and then it was peddle to the metal.


Ain't no ****** up diff is gonna hold me back! Truck went down the road just fine. Just had to turn up the radio a little.


Little bits of metal on the road were like bread crumbs behind my rig.


When I rolled the axle out from under my truck, the diff sounded like a coffee can full of nuts and bolts rattling around.



True story.
