I already know, heat and kroil. But does anybody have a good tip for getting out the small bearing inside of the spindle? Bent an old screwdriver so that i could get behind it and pound it out be shes locked in good. Anyone else got a better way of doing this?

You really like torching/cutting **** dont you lol? Think youre prolly right this time. But im talking about the little bearing inside of the spindle i cant get a grinder disc in there. Maybe ill try a dremel with a little cut off wheel?

No lol. That actually would be a dumb question. Its inside the spindle. I believe its the " inner spindle axle bearing" or something along those lines. There is no race just the bearing. Its about an inch and a half across

Same page now. Those normally aren't stuck in real hard (like a race). Close to the back of the spindle. WHACK IT WITH A CHISEL AND 20LB SLEDGE!

Just kidding. A smaller, sharp chisel should cut through it. Bend it in towards the center being careful of the spindle. I really haven't had problems with those. You know, your idea of the dremmel is pretty good....

I made a tool from large threaded rod, washers and nuts.

This is a really good idea. Is there a good enough lip showing on the bearing to catch it with the washer? I'm gonna have to remember that....

It worked great for me. Took just couple of hits with a hammer. Washer was sized to barely fit so it would have the largest impact area on the bearing.

This is a really good idea. Is there a good enough lip showing on the bearing to catch it with the washer? I'm gonna have to remember that....

There's actually a simple tool just for this purpose. Your local parts store might have it in a loaner program.

Every mechanic needs some All thread laying around. Usually in 3/8's and 5/16's sizes. I've made several transmission tools out of All thread using washers, cheap china sockets etc for compressors, and bushing pullers and drivers.
