You'll have to provide more info about the kit for a good answer. I assume you are asking about the 5 terminal section of the ignition switch - right?

Here is some stuff that might help;

Okay first problem:

You've got 9 terminals on your OEM ignition switch. As originally wired, 8 of those take a wire (BAT 1 & BAT 2 are internally jumpered within the switch).

So, the switch requires 8 connections - and the kit only supplies 5 wires.

There is no wiring provided with the Kwikwire harness for the temperature gauge & brake warning light test circuits. That leaves 6 terminals to hook up to.

As factory, BAT 2 & BAT 3 each have a separate feed from the firewall. The kit only supplies one feed for both, but they supposedly have included a 6" external jumper wire. That increases the number of leads they provided to 6.

This is how I think the 5 wires (6 with the jumper) from Kwikwire should be connected to the ignition switch:

I know the purple no. 19 wire from ign switch also attaches to Nuetral safety switch, but on the other wire terminal leaving the Nuetral safety switch do it go to the starter solenoid

Yes. Relax - you've got this.

The other end of the purple lead (the end in the engine compartment) - should be connected to the "S" terminal on the starter solenoid.

It goes like this:

After it leaves the CSS, it goes directly to the firewall transit block.

When it comes out of the transit, it makes a straight shot over to the RH side of the engine and then heads down to the solenoid.

It is one continuous run of wire - on the engine compartment side of the firewall. There are no other switches, splices, etc. in the run from the transit block to the solenoid.

If one was to bypass the ignition switch and use a single dash switch and a push button, would the brown wire become obsolete, Because the orange wire would be connected to the same switch?
