I thought about creating my own account there and going to your joke thread and acting really pissed that you would pull such a prank with a profanity filled post but I just haven't had the time. That would be funny, though, if someone actually acted offended by that!

The thread is locked. Liz the moderator pm'd me and still there is no clear way to delete your profile or account. I dont think Jake Wells or I need an explanation of why they dont like our online behavior any more than they have but it would be awesome if they could just erase you account from their control panel.

I wouldn't sweat it. I think that forum is incahoots with forum.73-87chevytrucks.com. I figured that out, when I got banned on 73-87 for saying, " Holy Shiott, you're kidding me."
Then I sent email as to WTF? Then they told me it was the Shiott that got me banned and I had been warned. I said huh, I never was warned and Shiott isn't a cuss word. Then they responded I was warned twice, that I had to read the rules to register, that was warning #1, and they had made everyone re read the rules one time logging in, so that was my warning #2. hahaha, that wasn't a warning at all, so I gave them all kind of cuss F words and telling them they needed me alot more than I needed them, and they could just F off that I wouldn't be back. So I went back about a month later to copy a post I had made there and then said, I was permantently banned for childish behavior. About 6 months later, I regiesterd at 67-72 and never got a confirmation to log in. So I emailed, and they said I was not accepted to join their forum. So I then figured out, there is not reason for them to not accept me, and if they are friggin uptight, they cram their site up their ass and no, I don't need to be a part of it. I have alot more to offer in help than I need help, but damn, we are adults, and in my book, if its safe for Prime time TV its safe for any forum that a 13yo might get onto, who goes to school and hears all kind of F words and filthy jokes etc. So no, don't sweat it Jake, to hell with Nickelodian, Blues Clues Truck Forums. And make it a point, to never buy a damn thing from the idiots. I've been told CaptKocks aka CaptKaos and those forums that are incahoots are a truck accesory and parts online store. Prices seemed a bit high anyway.

67-72chevytrucks was fun at first but eventually got lame. I never really obtained any GOOD advice on anything I have had a problem with. All the posts are about airbags, lowering kits and people asking what wheels will fit their truck. Dumb ****.
Last summer I posted about having stuck intake valves in my engine that broke pushrods. I asked if there was a temporary fix without pulling heads, all the responses were pretty much telling me to pull everything down to the cam and replace/rebuild everything.
I said **** that, got a hammer and some PB blaster and got the valves free and after my method I invented got the 305 on all 8 cylinders again. Not only did the repair work but the truck pulled a heavy load for a 305 over 1,000 miles in the extreme desert heat.
An explanation of how I accomplished that should be available for someone to read about that has the same problem. Not everyone wants to pull apart half a motor and throw down the cash on all the gaskets/valve grinding and seals. Telling me I need to do a complete overhaul is not good advice at all, I realize if my method does not work I need to pull heads as a last resort. But guess what, for under 10 bucks I got the truck running just as good as if I rebuilt my entire top end.

I'll say it again, as I have many many many times. The sucess of any forum, is its members. And there are some stupid forums. I see wrong info all the time and many times, I won't even correct it. If the moderators and admins are asses, and run off all the good people, then thats what you get. And like I have said, I find out who sponsors these forums, and if I don't like the mods or admins, I will boycott those places without doubt. The great thing about a good forum, is many many heads are better than one. I have alot of experience and still have questions that many times the younger crowd can answer for me, and I am not going to offended by the occasional foul lingo, but I damn sure don't like sesame street antics form a power trip happy big headed mod with authority, and I don't like these forums you see with all the name calling and arguing either. I gladly accept a differance in opinion when opinions matter and realize everyone is differant and had differant likes and dislikes, so why run a person down just because you don't like something they do? As far as factual matters, I'll normally correct someone if wrong, and occasionally I have obtained wrong info and pass it on, and I expect to be corrected if I am wrong, so I don't take it personal, and thankful someone else knew and in an adult like manner let me know I was wrong. Not come in and post, hey ******* a V8 has 8 cylinders, not 7 DUHH !!!. But you see immature crap ike that all time. Hopefully this forum stays the way it is, and just grows without the immature punk ass type people, and medium tone moderation, then I'd get along just fine here. I just wish more of my online buds had SquareBodies, cuz I could bring alot of people here, like I did to another forum when some idiot mod wanted to ban me for chewing his ass out for belittling members and being a smart ass.
