Anyone out there have a roll pan with hidden hitch? I am wanting to maybe go with a steel roll pan if can find a reciever hitch that mounts behind it. Then get the plate to flip down and mount the ball. Trying to find some pictures and part #'s if possible. Thanks

I did this on the last truck I built. It was a 95 chevy 1/2 ton. I got the hidden hitch, steel roll pan, and flip down plate bracket all made for my truck. Everything bolted or welded on exactly like it was supposed to. I got everything in one purchase from www.airbagit.com. I have seen some pretty bad reviews of this company but I have been dealing with them for years and they've always been really good for me. As a matter of fact I just order another load of stuff from them a couple of weeks ago. Hope this helps.

Ok Man he said that he just bought a bumper reciever from harbor freight. He welded it to a piece of 4 inch square tubing and welding a flat piece of stille to the ends. Then bolted it between the frame rails. He cut a square hole in the role pan. Then mounted a flip down plate holder over it from a place called styling trucks. He said that the only thing he didnt like was he had to reach under the roll pan to put the pin into the reciever. And that he had to cut the tabs of the reciever for the safetly chains so he welded new ones to the frame. Which meant he had to lengthen The chains on his trailers. Part numbers were 67158 for the hitch and flp-001 for the licenses plate holder hitch was about 30 bucks and the plate holder was 10

Having to reach under the truck for the pin is the same problem i have on my S10. I used a production reciever for an S10 cut down and welded to 1/4 inch angle steel to raise up into the fram rails instead of below it. My saftey loops were never a problem though my chains are long enough they hang pretty close to straight down. Other then buying the rollpan i didnt spend over 35 dollars to make my hidden hitch and flip down cover.
