I got a Curt. Can’t remember the model but I also had to drill all new holes and since mine had holes from previous owners I just replated my frame on those spots to start fresh. I also had to put1/4” spacers underneath to drop it far enough to go below bumper

I've put a couple on my 70s c10 and c20 and had to kinda slot the holes a little wider. Probably 1/4 inch or more. And had those big flat rectangular washers too. I think that's why there washers are so big.

I've bought 3 different hitches for my suburban and one has yet to fit or even come close. 2 supposed of came off suburbans. Drive me nuts. There all good width wise but the dip down on the frame kills me.
Here's a link to a Suburban hitch. Been on FB Marketplace for months in the San Antonio area. Don't know what the shipping would be, but if it fits-it's only money!

I don't believe Suburban or Blazer factory hitches work on trucks due to the difference in the rear frame horn shape.

Have read alot of threads elsewhere that they do not.

I think I'm going to go with removing the arms and then making side mount plates that sit flush with the sides of the frame and bolts horizontally into them. Saw a pic of an old Class V hitch on a 6 ton truck that mounted the same way. There were (8) bolts horizontally (couldn't see how many were vertical into the frame). I'm sure its frame is much more stout than mine but I doubt if I'll ever tow anything close to this hitch's limit anyways.
