does anyone have any info on the celebrity composite headlight swap for the 89-91 mini quad nose? I have searched and searched and all I can find is pictures and people saying you can do it but nobody has a write up that i can find or at least an install with pics.

I have never heard of it being done to the trucks until now. It makes sense however. I know this comes up a lot on montecarloss.com. Maybe go there and do a search? From what I have read at that site, people basically go buy the headlights and end up fabbing up a custom mount for them. They look good in the Montes, and the above picture looks good from what I can tell. Good luck!

I like the mini quads but I also like the look of the composites. plus with more options like brighter bulbs and of course projector retrofit. that would always be nice.

'86 was a special year because it had the revised front end (and rear) and still used the old sealed beams. The '86 Celebrity was the very same way... revised front and rear but still had sealed beams. Both 87's got the composite lights.
