Can anyone give me any Information on a bracket that's located on the passenger side kick panel in my 1978 GMC wrecker that I'm rebuilding, because I've never seen one in a '73-'87 squarebody before. I've Googled, asked people I know, etc. and have came up empty handed. I would greatly appreciate any information.

Aftermarket accessory bracket. Could be for anything, CB radio, first aid kit, etc. Many 2-way radios have a bracket like that for the speaker.
