Oh boy. Your first post here may stir up a ruckus, lol. But welcome anyways!

So you have a 4x4 and want to lower it and ditch the front drive axle? It's likely uncharted territory. You may want factory front springs and some form of aftermarket "drop" axle that is designed around a GM disc brake setup.

So you want to handicap a Blazer. I cannot contribute to this sacrilegious act. ✌️

You'll want to look at a gasser style straight axle. You'd probably be better off putting C10 front suspension under it.

Just find a C10 frame or front suspension setup someone is getting rid of. If you want to go low, can't use a 4wd axle or straight axle

I live in Michigan and I have a rust free classic and will never take it mudding or trail riding. My wife and i want to cruise with it.
Thank you for all the information

I want it like stock height maybe a little lower but definitely not a low rider

If you just want stock height, why don't you just take the lift out with stock components? Matter of fact I'd bet you can find someone who wants a lift kit to swap piece for piece and perform the labor.
