probably should of read a little more before i asked...but looks like they didn't drill all the holes for 4wd when they made the frames. sounds like a pia to me and not worth it

It can be done but it would be easier to find the right frame to swap if you are keeping it a 4wd..

There are other differences too, that have to do with different model years. Different body mounts (same location though), slightly different front bumper mounting, different transmission crossmembers... stuff like that.
