Whats the length of the 390 intake bolts? I wanna buy them locally from a hardware store. Summit says in one kits that there 3/8 x 16 but doesnt the length. I dont have any intake bolts to go by.

What is the spacer length too. I wanna buy it to from a hardware store also?

Yes, they are an entire foot long. They thread all the way down to the oil pan :Moon:

There 3in long. I measured the depth of the holes. I need 2 in spacers for the back 2 bolts. Getting grade 8 bolts.

I know there heavy. This one came off of a 64 T-Bird and its 4bbl. has the filler tube w/cap on it.

Iman is almost right. But its only the outer 4 bolts at the corners that are 3 feet lomg. They go thru the head, into the crankcase and into the crankshaft counterweights at each end of the head.

Thanks for the info?? Did you think I wanted to know??? I was trying to tell you how the bolt the crankshaft in a fixed postion so the motor woudl never run. :roflbow::roflbow::roflbow: You can build that Ford and put a nice Chevrolet Power Plant in it you know? Then someone here might be able to tell you this type of info. I can work on anything, but sometimes I just don't like looking stuff up, and many GM motors, transmisisons, cars, trucks etc etc, I just know and don't have to look **** up. Just razzing you Dave, you're talking the wrong breed. Maybe PM IMann, he's a Ford Lover. :Moon:
