Agreed on the 10k offer, but there is no way I'd pay 22.5k for it when KBB high is 8400. And when there are plenty of decent ones out there for fair market price, not emotionally attached price. The one you show is a good one. I'm guessing the 6.0 is the 400sb in vortec clothing.
Nope, 6.0 is the bigger LS brother to the 4.8/5.3. Same architecture.

**Nvrmnd, I see what you're saying. Sorta. It's a 364ci LS. You could get 4.8, 5.3s in 1500 'burbs and a 6.0 or 8.1 in a 2500

These were both nice ones. The Durango was awesome except for gas mileage. Got worse than the Hoe, lol.

My Bride and I have had 3 Tahoe/Yukons. 1st was an 03 Yukon, Dark Charcoal, Gray cloth with a Bench front. Had a 4.8, GREAT rig. Traded it for a Slate Blue 08 Tahoe 5.3, again Cloth Bench front seat. Another good ride, but at 100,000 the milky looking oil sacred us and we traded it on a New body style 2015 Champagne with a cloth front bench. The Yukon we bought in Ontario at the GMC dealer after we saw it in Boise and they wouldn't deal so I asked the dealership in Ontario OR if they could dealer trade and Yes they did! The Blue Tahoe came from Pocatello ID and we did the deal over the phone. My Bride was with her parents and met the salesman at a McDonald's in Eagle Idaho and took delivery. The 2015 Tahoe was at Woods Cross Utah and we went down there early on a Saturday and got it. Just about walked out of the dealer when they tried to add a $200 fee for some BS. Told them there were 4 other Tahoes in the area that we could get......lots of dealers in the SLC Utah area. We will go where the rigs are if they meet our criteria. Sorry for the letter........But these SUVs are very good in our opinion

Yep, all the '03-up Denalis had 6.0s/4L65s and most were AWD (maybe all of them? Not sure). The Escalades could be had with a 5.3 or 6.0 and AWD or 2wd

You know you would have to build one of those, right?
Yeah I know. I wouldn't put that kinda effort in a 'burb though, I'd go for a 1500HD QS if I were gonna do all that

The one I mentioned shows AWD/4WD.

Seems high. But some folks think (and maybe some folks buy) that a 20 year old high miles 3/4 ragged out vehicle is somehow worth considerably more if it’s a higher end trim model just because it was more $ when new or newer.
I don’t, as higher trim models, just like any other vehicle as they age, are not somehow magically more reliable or last longer.
If you’re buying a low buck old car, one’s priorities should be reliability not 69 position power leather seats and a host of other electro-mechanical features that are also in the golden years of their lifespan. If anything, an old luxury vehicle is harder and more costly to keep up because some of those features, as they die, need to be repaired just to keep reasonable functionality.
But then again, I look at cars a bit differently than the majority of consumers I’d imagine, albeit far more closely to folks like you all on this forum and of the like.

Ya I dont think I’ve ever seen a 2wd Denali anything, the standard Hoes, Yukon’s and Burbs of that era have a true 4 position transfer case and auto 4wd. Not sure if the Denalis got the same t case or just full time AWD only.

This one was a used car dealer seller, so there's that. If I were to offer on that one, I'd offer the lower KBB for the condition it's in and if they wouldn't budge I'd walk.

Ya, lol. I just automatically assume any used car at any dealer is not going to be a good deal. I only look private party for used.
Except that one time, wife saw a shiny red Ram 1500 on a used car lot. Stopped to check it out for giggles.
Typical salesman but he was just going nuts over the Z71 we were rolling in.
Went home. After a few “modifications” to the Chebbie we went back and traded a “low mile” Z71 for this Dodge for not much more than straight across.
I generally don’t even like dealing with new cars. Aside from the typical (not always) instant depreciation buying a new car, it’s just easier to deal with someone personally on an almost new car if that’s where we’re headed.

4 doors, 5 seats, a little rust, but otherwise okay.
$2500 from the rust belt in the greater Philadelphia area. 197K miles.
