I just picked up an 82 K20 long box with a 700R4 adn NP208 with what I am told is a 6" skyjacker lift. Although the truck has 39.5 swampers on it. I can turn the wheel and there is no rub at full turn, but imagine there would be if I hit some big bumps. I am not going to rock crawling with it, just driving to and from places I go hunting where there can be some decent mud holes. If i were to add 2" of lift (blocks in the back and new springs up front) would I need to worry about lengthening? I have heard that with the 700r4, Np 208 and it being a long box I can go to 8" without major issues.
