where is the hose and wires supposed to run? mine were just hanging and it doesn't seem right. the last switch was broke in half, don't want to break the new one!

ps, really hoping this will fix my cruise, PO owner told me it worked 1 time, then quit (he only owned it 6 months). well the switch was broke, so duh it didn't work?

Cruise solo doesn't work, need to troubleshoot it. Still no idea where the hose should be running. Really just need a pic

I assume you are talking about the vacuum release hose for the cruise brake pedal switch.

The hose runs from the servo, up over the brake booster and in through the firewall at the hole above the speedo cable. it then runs up over the steering wheel under the dash and down the back of the dash next to the radio.

I took my entire cruise off...make sure you every component in this picture. the red box (cruise module) is bolted above the gas pedal and the yellow box (speed sensor) is up in the dash.

Thanks, that's what I needed, the hose is way too long to be all underneath! I need to take my cluster back out anyway because the wire for my gas gauge seems to be loose.

I think I have all of it, it there is a single pin not connected to anything on the green speed sensor thing, will double check the rest when I have the dash out

the single pin goes to the back of the speedo, right beside the cable connection. it actually gets screwed into it by a small bolt.
