Clock Only Second Hand Moves

I know it's a minor thing, but the dash clock I added to my 83 GMC instrument cluster only has second hand movement. It moves around at a normal pace but neither minute or hour hands move.

Is there anything internal that can be fixed? Thanks for the help!

The clock movement is mechanical. There is a spring that is wound by a small solenoid. That part is working, so a gear has slipped off or became loose. Clock smith might help or take it apart and have a look. Need a 12V source to set the spring.

That’s more than 99% of them do! It would be cool to get it working. Something satisfying about having all the gauges work. Even if it’s of no use anymore, like the clock.

I'm old, years ago a guy older than me said "I can get any old clock working" He did too. He's gone now, one of the guys that had the talent to fix instead of replace parts. He taught me a lot!
