Unless I go pay an astronomical amount for high-speed balancing, most of the shops only spin 'em up to around 50-60mph when balancing. If I have a vibration on my DD, it ususally starts just shy of 60, but levels off around 70-75mph. My 1st set of lows I bought, I was making good side money and went to this place that I think is the highest in the ATL area. They do lots of celebrities cars and work for race car drivers and high end exotics, so I figured they could definitely get my Maxima right. Paid about $1100 for (4) Pirellis and the balancing and maybe an alignment...can't remember. I could run that thing straight up to 135mph w/no shaking at all, so I guess it was worth it. However, I've never paid for that again since!

Can I get in n that tire action? :005:

If he's paying $74-$77, you could order get 'em from Wally World for $79. You can order 'em online and ship to your nearest store for free, if they're not in stock. I will say this, the Wrangler radials run a lil skinny IMO. If I had to do over, I might've gone 255/70 instead.

I use a forklift at work to change my tires, AND I DON'T BALANCE THEM. :flipthebird:

I used to have a tire changing tool, I think some bastard stole it from me. It looked like this.

ATV tires are a real bastard to change, they go those tight ass beads on them.

yeah if you buy a tire machine i bought mine a few years ago from HF i don't remember what i paid for them i usually get about 45,000 miles out of my tires i pay around 74-77 each for them. they are not smooth riding being 8 ply the brand is STA super traction 10-15 truck tire.

How do you like them in mud/snow/rain/etc?

We used to run them a long time ago on our family car, with snow studs. That is, if it's the same tire that has this tread pattern...

I finally got new front steer tires for my roll back last week. WOW, what a difference. As I had suspected. Rides like a new truck, and not tearing up king pins, bearings, and anything electrical in the truck, including rattling my teeth loose.
