Please help. Where does this hose plug? I'm thinking it's in the carb somewhere? I found it hanging on the intake. It comes from the charcoal canister.

I just pulled a canister bracket off a truck - one does go to the carb.....was in the middle of the front of it (but not sure what carb they had).

@Doppleganger,

It may have been an old Carter AFB. How old was this motor?
@kevin lefebvre, You may have to put a splitter where that big hose comes out of the base of your carb.. Once the engine is shut down a lot of vapors will accumulate in the manifold and go back into the vapor cannister and supposedly back into the tank as the pressure drops.
