While that Blazer is sweet, I could never own it, my wife hates the full vert tops! And yes, my auto purchases do actually get filtered through her!

My wife and I talk about these things as well prior to purchases like this. She's never said I can't get something (as long as we can afford it) but she'll give her honest opinion. For instance, she can't drive a stick shift and has no desire to drive a stick shift. So if we buy something and I'd like for her to have the option of driving it I know I have to get an automatic. She's never said "No, you can't get a manual tranny vehicle" but if I did then she'd just never be able to drive it. When I was getting my '98 I also had on my list a very clean Square Body burb. She thought it was extremely ugly (she hates square body burbs for some reason :() so if I'd gotten it she'd never have driven it. With that said, if the '98 hadn't worked out there's a high likelihood I'd be DDing that square body burb right now :)

I don't mind the 50's and 60's to much, but wasn't a fan of the 70's or 80's at all. 92-96 wasn't to bad.

My very first vehicle was a 1977 F150. They're actually pretty good old trucks. I wouldn't mind having another one.

My cousin has a 74 or 75 F100, 300-6 3 on the tree almost perfect except the left corner of the bed. I don't think it has ever seen a winter, my Uncle bought it for scrap price and it only needed a starter. He's a Ford guy.

I'm a diehard Chevy guy as most folks know, but the 70's Furd pickups are indeed nice looking trucks. Not as nice as a Chevy of course, but nice.

My first full-size truck was a '92 F150 4X4 with 112K miles. It was a good truck until the auto trans wanted to kick in and out of overdrive on the interstate:nono:. It was traded for a '94 toyota pickup .
