I have 3 of these. 2 are off of the burnt cab 84 C20, the 1 good one was off of the 85 Bent Frame C20 I had bought. Sooooo, of the 2 trucks I was hoping to make 1 matching set. The Rubber/Plastic, whatever it is, on the one 84 C20 truck was melted and burnt up. Anyone know how I can go about removing the rubber/plastic from the one mismatched part so I can install it on the other one that I have a matching mate too? The retaining tabs seem to be very brittle and I'm afraid I'd break them. Any ideas or anyone ever done it before?
There's a set of these in about this same condition on eBay and the guy is asking $200 for the set.
I don't need these since both of the trucks I currently have has a nice brush guard with push pads and the C20 has a nice set of these on it already too. So maybe I can sell these for about 1/4 of what this guy on ebay wants, or trade them for some parts or product I need for my K10/20 project.
